Habloo is run from Germany, so the GDPR applies to everything described here — wherever you happen to be reading from. We have not appointed a data protection officer; the legal thresholds for that do not apply to a business of this size.
Hosting and server logs
The website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Data stays in Germany.
Every time a page is requested, the web server records a log entry: the shortened IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, the browser and operating system. That happens for technical reasons — it is how a web server works — and it lets us find errors and defend against attacks.
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a website that runs reliably and securely.
- Retention: log entries are deleted after 14 days, unless an entry is needed to investigate a specific incident.
The Nunito typeface is stored on our own server. No font, script or image is loaded from a third-party network, so no data reaches such a provider merely because you open a page.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people read, which exercises they finish and where they leave. That tells us which lessons to write next. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Analytics is set up so that it behaves differently depending on where you are:
- In the EU, the UK, Switzerland and the EEA, storage is denied by default. Nothing is written to your device until you agree in the notice at the bottom left. Until then Google receives only aggregated, cookieless signals.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR — your consent, revocable at any time. - Everywhere else, measurement starts with your visit, and the same notice lets you switch it off.
Your IP address is shortened before it is stored. We use no advertising features: ad storage, ad personalisation and ad user data are switched off permanently, and we do not link measurement data with any other source.
Transfer outside the EU: Google may process data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and standard contractual clauses apply in addition. Despite that, we cannot rule out that US authorities gain access to such data — that is the risk your consent covers.
Retention: Analytics data is deleted after 14 months. The measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_*) expire after two years at the latest.
How to stop it: choose “No thanks” in the notice, or delete this site’s data in your browser and choose again.

The exercises, quizzes and games run entirely in your browser. What you answer is not sent anywhere. There are no user accounts on habloo.net yet, so there is no profile for anything to be attached to.
Shop and purchases
Learning PDFs are sold on shop.habloo.net, a separate WordPress and WooCommerce installation hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany.
If you buy something, we process the data you enter at checkout — name, email address, country and the order itself — in order to deliver the download and to meet our tax obligations.
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the contract, and Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR for the retention periods that tax and commercial law require.
- Retention: order and invoice data is kept for ten years, as German law requires.
- Payment: your payment details are entered with the payment provider shown at checkout and are processed by them, not by us. We never see a card number.
If you write to us
Email sent to lernen@habloo.de is stored with our mail provider (ALL-INKL.COM, address above) so we can answer it. We keep correspondence for as long as the matter needs and delete it afterwards, unless retention periods apply.

Your rights
You can ask us at any time for:
- access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- correction of anything inaccurate (Art. 16)
- deletion (Art. 17)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- a copy in a portable format (Art. 20)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
Where processing rests on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future — for analytics, the notice at the bottom left does exactly that. One email to lernen@habloo.de is enough for everything else.

Changes to this statement
When we add something that processes data — user accounts, a newsletter, a different payment provider — this page is updated before that feature goes live.
If you are in California
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not process sensitive personal information. The opt-out above covers analytics.
